We are uniquely privileged to have this opportunity to go into the heart of the Andean mountains with Mama Rosa and her family to learn from her wisdom, connect to the land, and be initiated into her lineage!
We’ll be going over the Summer Solstice, an auspicious and powerful time for collecting and activating our energy and power! We will learn how to connect with nature, ancestors, and Andean traditions to be in right relation for prosperity for us and the land!
During the retreat you will experience….
A ritual flower bath in a sacred waterfall for energetic clearing and activation
Visits to sacred sites such as sacred Mountains, volcanos, and lagoons
Lessons about the legends of these sites and why these sites are so sacred and how to cultivate and utilize there power
Participation in local ceremonies for the solstice
How to make offerings to the land in accordance with Andean tradition, and learn why this is so important for our well being and for the wellbeing of the land
Community Giving
As a community, we will fundraise before going to Ecuador to raise money for a community project of Mama Rosa’s choosing. The money raised will go directly into supporting the work Mama Rosa does with her local community and empowering the women in her village.

Initiations at sacred sites
We have this unique opportunity to go to Ecuador with a local medicine woman to learn and engage with the community and the sacred sites where she has been initiated and will bring us into her lineage.
Activations
We’ll go to these unique sacred sites and receive different tools like stones that will be activated with Mama Rosa so that we can use them to harness and activate our own power. We use them for clearings for ourselves, our clients and people we work with.
Wisdom preservation
One of the major intentions of this trip is to sit with Mama Rosa and preserve her wisdom through photo and video documentation. We get to witness her wisdom and help preserve it for future generations!
ABOUT YOUR HOSTS
mama rosa & Jhony
Mama Rosa is a Medicine woman, midwife, and wisdom keeper of indigenous roots in the Cayambi culture of Ecuador. She is a well known and respected elder across Ecuador and shares her wisdom with local and international patients and students, in person and now across zoom. She and her son Johny maintain and share the ancient traditions of the Cayambi people and are very excited to share these traditions with our group during the retreat.
Wisdom keepers, like Mama Rosa is now, learned and passed the knowledge of such wisdom as cleansing with guinea pigs, removal of bad energies, attraction of good energies and the use of medicinal plants to prevent and cure various diseases and ailments. Today she has 35 years of experience exercising all these activities of healing and midwifery, and she has passed this knowledge down to Jhony who helps expertly share this wisdom in ways accessible to younger generations!
JHONY
Jhony is the youngest son of Mama Rosa and has been chosen to continue her lineage as a wisdom keeper of ancestral medicine. He supplements his ancestral wisdom with his degree in western nursing. Jhony supports Mama Rosa in the work she does and is a critical part of translating ancestral wisdom into accessibly digestible forms for the younger generation.
MARNI POGACHEFSKY
Marni is an international spiritual and personal development guide, motivational speaker, energy worker, and mystical teacher who has dedicated her life to traveling the world and igniting consciousness through self realization and cultural immersion and exchange. While traveling through Ecuador, she was found by Mama Rosa and invited to live with, be initiated by, and learn from Mama Rosa and her lineage. Marni is thrilled to help get Mama Rosa’s teachings out to a larger audience, so that people can experience the magic she was able to experience from her time in Ecuador.
Previously a management consultant at the largest global consulting firm, Marni switched gears to fully devote herself to a more "esoteric path” after experiencing burn out. She traveled the world studying mysticism and wisdom teachings with leaders across their practices and has been privileged to teach what she’s learned to thousands of students across the world.
Marni is passionate about supporting people in the spiritual and corporate worlds to find peace, balance, and purpose. Marni helps keep the energy fields of high impact conscious leaders clean and clear so they can continue shifting the paradigm. And she teaches others to do the same.
DANI POGACHEFSKY
Meet Dani Pogachefsky - international yoga, meditation, and spiritual teacher and guide. Dani spent the better part of 10 years traveling far and wide, studying yoga, meditation, healing arts, human behavior, biomechanics, mind-body-spirit connection, trauma, the nervous system, mantra, philosophy, mysticism, spirituality, and other modalities with preeminent teachers in their respective fields. She travels the world to garner unique perspectives and expertise, combining her studies to make once obscure teachings accessible to modern society.
Her passion and purpose on the planet is to help unleash the full capacity of human potential, and empower individuals to embody and express their most authentic self. Dani believes in the power of inclusivity, belonging, and conscious relating. She infuses these principles into everything she does, creating a safe environment for students to be their full, unadulterated self!
When Dani isn’t traveling the far corners of the planet studying local wisdom, she is based in the United States. Dani is passionate about sharing what she has learned with others through one-on-one guidance, group classes, and retreat settings around the world. Dani believes that the key to expansion is exposure: internally (to what motivates one’s actions and beliefs) and externally to new environments, belief systems, cultures, and ways of being. It is through this exposure that she sees the greatest potential for individual and collective evolution.

Shuttle from Quito to Imbabura
Welcome Dinner and ceremony
20th (Day 2):
Ritual Bath at the waterfalls and Andean cleanse
Class on the elements
Ceremony and meal prepared in gratitude for pacha mama (Mother Earth)
21st (Day 3):
Solstice celebrations - Offerings, dancing with chickens, community tour of Angla
Engaging with local community members and meeting with the local women who work with Mama Rosa
22nd (Day 4):
Volcano hike/ walking along the slopes of Imbabura to find stones to be used for power activation
Receive the stories and mythology / legends of the volcano

23rd (Day 5):
Integration day + evening Temascal
24th (Day 6):
Visit to the trails of the Tocagon Hill, Mojanda Lagoon, and Ponch Plaza (sacred sights to learn about the legends and receive initiations)

What’s Included:
Transportation from Quito to the retreat hotel leaving at 2pm from Quito on the 19th! (we will have a shuttle for the group, if you cannot make this shuttle we can help you coordinate other transportation. We may move the shuttle time slightly depending on when everyone arrives!)

Private sessions with other practitioners (we know many wonderful healers and practitioners in the area and will gladly share them with you)
Recommendations
We recommend getting to Quito one day / the evening before the retreat begins to give yourself a little time to acclimatize to the altitude.
We also suggest taking advantage of being in Ecuador and spending time exploring / visiting sites like the Galapagos Islands before or after the retreat, if you can!
If you have dietary restrictions, please inform us in advance of the retreat so we can work with the retreat center to try and accommodate you as best as possible.
